Nicki Spina Verbally Commits To Rider


Nicki Spina of Glen Mills, PA has verbally committed to play softball for Rider University beginning with the 2011 season.

Nicki is a catcher who is in her senior year at Garnet Valley High. She also plays for Chaos Gold. Nicki was an All-Pennsylvania First Teamer in 2009.

Nicki is pictured first from the left with her sisters Danielle and Courtney with whom she played in High School.

St. Peter's 2010 Softball Schedule

St. Peter's does not open their season until March 24. It looks like some budget cutting as the team will not be traveling far from home during the 2010 season, unless they qualify for the MAAC Tournament which will be held at Canisius College in Buffalo.

Alyssa Zahka Verbally Commits To Marist

Alyssa Zahka of Lexington, MA, star catcher for Massachusetts State Champion Lexington High and the RI Thunder Elite has verbally committed to play softball at Marist and will join the Red Foxes for the 2011 season. Her sister Joelle is a freshman at Marist this year and will play outfield and infield.

This is a fan blog, that is in conjunction with my Canisius Softball blog. I think that mainly it will be active during the spring season beginning in February, but as I do more research, it may become more active sooner.
