Niagara's Teresa Healy (pictured) continued her torrid hitting streak by driving in the winning runs in game 2 of the MAAC doubleheader at Gaelic Park Sunday.

Manhattan's Melissa Donnelly provided the heroics in game one by ending a pitchers duel with a walk off homer in the bottom of the 7th inning. Erika Sullivan picked up the win for the Lady Jaspers with her second one run MAAC game this weekend, allowing only a Maggie McDonald solo homer. Niagara's Julie Dimatteo was equally effective, as Manhattan could only scratch out a run off a double play in the 2nd inning until Melissa Donnelly came up in the 7th with Monica Evangelista on base.

Game two was also close. Niagara's Cassie Stone scattered 8 hits for the shutout win, while Manhattan's Melissa Donnelly allowed only 3 hits. Unfortunately for her, one of those hits was off the deadly bat of Teresa Healy. In the 6th inning with two on and two out, the two time MAAC First Teamer crushed a double to left field, scoring two and giving Niagara the win. After a slow start, Teresa has raised her average to .385, and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Niagara is now 4-2 in the MAAC; 11-13 overall. Manhattan is 2-4; 14-16-1.
