Rider Fit To Be Tied

The Rider Broncs lost two 7th inning leads in their home doubleheader against Delaware today losing the first game 6-5, but gaining a 4-4 tie in the second game which ended in extra innings when the sun went down.

Brittany Eckett continued her hot streak by hitting two homers, giving her seven for the season and placing her in a second place tie with Paige Freiberger of Canisius.

Heather Muscara went 3 for 4 in the second game, and took the lead among MAAC batters by raising her average to .407.

The Broncs fell to 8-18-1 for the season. However, they are currently in first place in the MAAC with a 2-0 conference record.
