Game One Box Score
Game Two Box Score

For the second time in a week, Danielle Koltz hit a walk off homer to give Marist a win. The Red Foxes swept Hartford Thursday in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Danielle Koltz began her great day by homering in the 2nd inning of game one; later in the inning a 2 RBI single by Nicole DiVirgilio gave Marist a 3-1 lead. Hartford tied the game in the top of the 3rd, but Lyndsay Durant's double put the Red Foxes back in front, 4-3, in the bottom of the same inning. A big 4th inning by Hartford put them up 5-4. Sarah Carmody doubled home Lyndsay Durant in the 5th inning to pull Marist even once more, and set the table for Danielle Koltz's heroics. Leading off the bottom of the 7th inning, Danielle drove a pitch over the center field fence, just as she did last weekend against Iona, and Marist had the win. Paige Lewis, who had come on in relief of Emily Osterhaus in the 3rd inning, improved her record to 10-5.

A 2 run homer in the 1st inning off the bat of Aly Klemmer gave Marist the early lead in game two. Starter Emily Osterhaus kept Hartford off the board until the 7th inning, when she walked the lead off batter and surrendered a home run. With the game tied in the bottom of the 7th, Caitlin Schell hit a 2 out double scoring, you guessed it, Danielle Koltz with the winning run! Emily Osterhaus improved her record to 10-5.

The Red Foxes continue MAAC play at St. Peter's on Saturday.
