Maureen Duddy Commits To Marist

Maureen Duddy of San Mateo, CA has verbally committed to play softball at Marist College beginning in the 2013 season.

Maureen is a third baseman and outfielder for Aragon High School, where she was team MVP, and All-San Mateo County plus All-Bay Conference. Maureen is a speed demon in the Lauren Hope mold; she stole 21 bases in high school play this past season. She's also a great hitter, batting .449 in 2011, while using her speed for many extra base hits. Maureen also plays for the San Jose Sting, and competed in the recent Premier Tournament.

Congratulations Maureen!

Looking at this article five years later, I must say I was prophetic about Maureen! She would go on to break all of Lauren Hope's stolen bases records.
