Broncs Fit To Be Tied

Kehli Washington scored both Rider runs

Rider 2
Utah Valley 2

The Rider Broncs played a seven inning, rain halted tie with Utah Valley Sunday at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, FL.

Almost all of the Rebel Games Sunday schedule was wiped out by rain, affecting a number of MAAC teams, but Rider got one game in...sort of. The Broncs and Wolverines played a complete seven innings, but the game was tied 2-2. The rain made further play impossible, so it goes in the books as a tie. Rachael Matreale pitch another great game for Rider, striking out nine batters and allowing only three hits. The Broncs had six hits, with Gina McCool driving home a run.

Rider and the other MAAC teams in Kissimmee will attempt to get back on the field Monday.
