Peahens Win First In Dramatic Fashion

Team effort brings win for St. Peter's

The St. Peter's Peahens won their first game of the season Wednesday at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, FL.

The Peahens entered the seventh inning of their game with Howard down 3-0, but emerged victorious. After a single by Taylor Corretjer and a walk by Nicole Olmedo led off the inning, Krystine Rice continued her impressive freshman season by driving a run home. RBIs by Michelle Tinajero and Tori Feorenzo tied the game before Nicole Schnecker sent home the winner.

St. Peter's continues at the Spring Games with a pair of games today.
