How do you determine Freshman of the Year? Is it Conference stats, then overall stats or vice versa?

Speaking for myself, and not the MAAC, I will choose from having watched all the games.

I think in-conference should be first consideration since that compares apples to apples. From your last comment, I guess you agree that performance in conference play is what determines your pick for Freshman of the Year.

It does factor in, but as I say, I've watched all the games, and I'm looking at what players did, and when they did it. For instance, the raw statistics will never tell you that Corinne Schaus altered the season of two teams with a single pitching performance.
