Rebecca Freeman Commits To Marist

Courtesy of Mercerspace

Rebecca Freeman of Robbinsville, NJ has verbally committed to play softball at Marist College beginning in the 2014 season.

Becca is a catcher at Robbinsville High School, where she led the Ravens to a New Jersey State championship in 2011, and a final appearance this past season. Although she once again posted very impressive offensive numbers her junior season, including a .393 batting average with 26 RBIs in 26 games, Becca is best known for her outstanding defensive play behind the plate. A repeat selection to the All-Trenton team, and the New Jersey State team, she possesses a gun for an arm; opposing high school teams rarely steal on her. Becca is currently playing travel ball with the NJ Nightmare.

Congratulations Becca!

That is really good news I love it when a young girl gets the credit she deserves for all of her hard work.
