Joelle Morey Signs With St. Peter's

Courtesy of Lehigh Valley Express-Times
Joelle Morey of Northamptom, PA has signed a national letter of intent to play softball at St. Peter's University beginning in the 2014 season.

Excellent signing by the Peahens as they fill a need in the circle and at the plate with one move. Joelle Morey is a pitcher and third baseman for Bethlehem Catholic High School where she has received much recognition for her play, including being named to the Max Preps underclassmen All-America team, as well as the All-Pennsylvania team, Lehigh Valley Player Of The Year and Pitcher Of The Year. In leading her team to a second consecutive Lehigh Valley Conference championship, Joelle produced great numbers. As a pitcher last season she had a record of 10-6 and an ERA of 1.06. She pitched a perfect game in 2011. At the plate, she hit .521 with four home runs and 29 RBIs. She can hit for average and power; and shows up in the big games. She plays travel ball with the New Jersey Inferno Gold.

Congratulations Joelle!
