Lauren Visconti Signs With Manhattan

Courtesy of the Bethlehem Patch
Lauren Visconti of Stewartsville, NJ has signed a national letter of intent to play softball at Manhattan College beginning in the 2014 season.

Lauren is a senior at Bethlehem Catholic High School right across the border in Pennsylvania. She's an outfielder who was honored as an All-Pennsylvania selection by that state's coaches association after a great 2012 season which saw her hit for a .418 average. She drove home 22 runs and scored 26 times in 24 games, and is a leadoff type hitter with great speed who knows how to get on base and manufacture runs. She shows up for the big games, leading her team to back-to-back Lehigh Valley Championships. Lauren is very athletic, playing multiple sports, and is a Field Hockey all-star. She plays travel ball with the Northwest Explosion.

Congratulations Lauren!

Hard slide into first!
