The Siena Saints' softball program took a big step forward in 2014, again qualifying for the MAAC tournament after a fine season and then winning their first ever post season game. The Saints return a very strong upper class, with three All-MAACers in the group. They all now have plenty of winning experience, and have been quite productive during their careers. Gone is pitching stalwart Jessika-Jo Sandrini, but Siena has a good group of pitchers who all will probably contribute significantly. Also coming aboard is a promising transfer, catcher Sammy Smaldone, and a very talented group of freshmen. This well coached team now must have just one goal...winning it all. They have all the tools to accomplish that in 2015.

Chelsey Drew will be in the outfield for Siena this season. Also, Temple transfer Amanda Gatt will see a lot of innings in the circle.

Siena also lost Sophmore pitcher Katie Casey and freshman outfielder Mia Baldassari.

Yes, I had just noticed that Mia was gone to a D-3 school.
