MAAC Looking For First Win

Michelle DelPrince hit two triples for Canisius Saturday
The MAAC went 0 for 5 in games Saturday, and is still looking for a win in 2015. Niagara closed out their games at the Cleveland St. Dome Tournament, dropping matches to Robert Morris (3-1), and Bowling Green (9-1). Katie Gruarin had two hits and an RBI in the loss to RMU; Taylor Moody drove home the Purple Eagles' only run vs. Bowling Green. Canisius lost their two opening games of '15, also at the Dome Tournament, falling to the host Vikings (8-4), and Bucknell (9-4). Lindsey Silfer smashed a two run homer vs. CSU; Sam Sharkey delivered two hits. Against Bucknell, Michelle DelPrince drove home two runs; she had a pair of triples on the day. Quinnipiac lost a close game to intra state rival Sacred Heart, 5-3. Nikki Barba hit an RBI triple for the Bobcats; Brittney Cyr also drove home a run. Canisius will play another two games Sunday.
