Scrambling To Get Games Played

A rare photo of the Polar Vortex as she places a curse on the '15 softball season
It's been a week of cancellations and teams scrambling to try to get on the field as this cruel February draws to a close. Here's an update:

Manhattan for the second consecutive week saw their series at North Carolina Central cancelled. This time it won't be rescheduled.
Niagara had it's games at Elon's tournament cancelled; they won't see the field until March.
Rider and Monmouth, both set to play at George Mason's tournament are disappointed not to be playing.
Fairfield had their opening games cancelled.

Canisius had their tournament at East Tennesse State cancelled. This was their second cancellation, so they felt they must get on the field, and will do so in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in an impromptu tournament with Army, Brown and Cornell.
Iona also had their second cancellation; then their third a few days later. But like Canisius, they will play a series of games in South Carolina vs. George Washington and Greensboro.
Marist is in Wilmington, North Carolina and set to play, although it may be chilly.
Only Siena (again) had no question, as they once again are in Florida and far away from the evil polar vortex.

The good news is that this cold weather is forecast to expire after Saturday.
