Senior Tori Nappo scored the winning run; hit a double; and made two outstanding run saving plays in right field. The Griffs lost to W. Illinois again on Sunday, but another freshman pitcher, Lauren Castro, was outstanding in a 2-1 loss. She drove home the Griffs' only run. It was Lindsey Silfer's three run home run blast in the 5-3 win over IUPUI that earned the split for Canisius. The junior has four homers and 14 RBIs this early season. Sophomore Moriah Harris continued her hot hitting, going 2 for 2 with an RBI. She leads the team with a .350 average. Erika Mackie got the circle win, with Allie Block earning a save in relief.
