The Niagara Purple Eagles will open their 41 game 2017 softball season on the weekend of February 11 at Cleveland State's annual Dome Tournament. The Purps will play the host Vikings, Bowling Green and Robert Morris. Niagara won't be back on the field until the weekend of March 17 when they participate at George Washington's tournament vs. the host school and Albany in a series of five games.
After doubleheaders at Syracuse and Cleveland St., the Purple Eagles will open MAAC play at Iona on April 1. Niagara will close out their regular season on May 7 at local rival Canisius. The Purps will have seven home dates in 2017.
